Unlike Daniel Farke, patience seems to be wearing thin among Leeds United supporters right now.
Speaking in his press conference earlier today, Farke once again reiterated there is no panic at Leeds regarding transfers, despite his public desire to make three new signings.
It has been 24 days since Leeds‘ last incoming and so after Paraag Marathe’s comments in June about being able to get a head start this time around, there is frustration about how slow things are moving.
Bringing in a new winger to replace Crysencio Summerville remains one of Leeds’ top priorities between now and the end of the window, with Norwich City’s Jonathan Rowe a key target.
However, since news of Leeds’ interest first broke at the beginning of last week, the only side to have made a formal offer is Marseille.

What Leeds have done about Rowe since first phone call
The pressure on Leeds to bring a suitable Summerville replacement has been ramped up ever so slightly by their failure to sign Jesurun Rak-Sakyi from Crystal Palace.
Leeds were willing to pay as much as £15 million to sign him permanently, but Palace instead prefer a loan and so he is on his way to Sheffield United.
For Rowe, meanwhile, Leeds’ initial conversations with Rowe started at the £7 million mark and given that figure was seemingly laughed off by Norwich, they have not yet lodged a bid.
In fact, according to Leeds Live, it does not appear as though Leeds have actually done much at all regarding Rowe since their initial phone call.
The report states Leeds have made very little progress with regards to a deal for the 21-year-old, as they are not interested in meeting the sort of fee Norwich put across in initial talks.
It is said Leeds will continue to monitor his situation and asking price until the end of the window, which could well change given he has been sent to train with the Canaries’ U21s.

Leeds may have to be patient for Rowe
Leeds are not the only side who seem to have been put off by Norwich’s valuation, with Marseille also viewing a deal as ‘complex’ right now after their first bid.
Had Rowe carried on and made himself available for Norwich’s squad at Oxford United as normal, this saga may well have been dead in the water right now.
However, Rowe’s actions would indicate that he is keen on a move away this summer and so Norwich’s valuation may come down by the end of the month.
If this was to happen and Leeds are to sign him, their strategy would be vindicated. If not, Leeds better have some suitable alternatives lined up.
