The 49ers will be drawing up transfer targets for the summer as Leeds United look to cement their place in the Premier League next season.

Nothing is set in stone yet but Leeds are flying in the Championship and look well on their way to achieving promotion.

Daniel Farke has done a fantastic job and it makes the Whites boss’ job even more impressive after Farke solved Leeds’ midweek fixture struggle.

But there is still plenty of work to be done which the 49ers themselves will know.

However, there will be questions raised of who Leeds will bring in during the summer and two targets have been brought up over who is the best in the Championship.

Norwich City’s Johannes Hoff Thorup discusses two Leeds United targets

In a bizarre occurrence, the Norwich City boss, Johannes Hoff Throup, has had mentions of two targets Leeds could make moves for.

One being the Canaries’ own, as Leeds are interested in Joshua Sargent, after 11 goals in the Championship this season.

As well as this, Throup praised Wilson Isidor who is another on Leeds’ radar, but this got him speaking about who he believes is the league’s best.

Speaking to The Pink Un, the Norwich boss claimed how tricky it is to decide who is better.

“It’s so, so difficult to say,” Thorup said.

“We have to have respect for the strikers at the top of the league at the moment, scoring a lot of goals.

“I saw the Sunderland striker (Isidor) the other day scoring a goal away against Leeds that is also top quality. There’s many, many good strikers in the league.”

Leeds will have striker decision to make in summer transfer window

It’s a bold move to sign Championship players when in the Premier League, which has been evident to not work most of the time.

Ipswich Town is a good example this year after it looks as though they prepared for a Championship return.

However, Leeds need a striker to compete with Joel Piroe and Mateo Joseph in the top flight, and one of Sargent or Isidor would be a great coup.

Sargent has Premier League experience which might give him the upper hand, but Isidor looks committed to Sunderland anyway.

A decision will have to be made, and these two targets will no doubt be on Farke’s radar.
