The transfer window may have closed but that has not stopped one Leeds United player from leaving permanently.
The Whites have a number of players currently out on loan but it is highly unlikely any of them will be returning in the summer, and so work is already underway to move some on.
Tyler Adams was one of only a handful of last season’s first team squad to leave permanently in the wake of relegation, but has played just a matter of minutes at Bournemouth due to a hamstring injury.
However, one of his Leeds teammates from last season has now joined him in moving to the South Coast permanently, with Luis Sinisterra’s move having been confirmed earlier today having spent the first half of the season on loan.
And speaking in a quick social media interview with Bournemouth’s media team, Adams has given his immediate reaction to the news of Sinisterra’s permanent arrival.
Adams delighted at Sinisterra move
He said: “Oh I didn’t know that, that’s amazing – great news, what a player, happy to have him here.”
Sinisterra’s permanent exit from Leeds is expected to cost Bournemouth somewhere in the region of £20 million, less than the originally agreed figure in the option-to-buy that came with his loan deal.

However, this was done so Leeds receive guaranteed funds thanks to the deal, handing them extra room in terms of the EFL’s profit and sustainability rules, which are tight at this level.
Daniel Farke gave his immediate reaction to Sinisterra’s move in his press conference earlier today, and believes it is the right decision from the club to move him on, on a permanent basis.
Sinisterra also spoke of his happiness at clarifying his future and despite his clear talent, it is a decision that suits all parties at this stage of the season.
