Luis Sinisterra has completed a permanent exit from Leeds United, joining loan side Bournemouth for a fee believed to be around £20m – and Daniel Farke has given his honest verdict on the winger.
Sinisterra, 24, left Leeds on loan after just one season last summer. One of many players that used the cause inserted by Victor Orta to escape Elland Road on loan. He did it on deadline day, angering Leeds.
Angus Kinnear said he would not be on the Christmas card list, and the official Leeds statement that confirmed his permanent move to The Cherries showed how glad Leeds are to see the back of him.
Farke spoke ahead of Saturday’s home clash against of Rotherham at Elland Road, and was asked about Sinisterra. He said it was the right move, likening Sinisterra to microwaved food on the club’s YouTube.

“A good decision – beneficial for our future. Many compliments to those involved in the negotiations. We wanted a perfect result, we got it. Good situation. I never made a secret out of that I rate Luis Sinisterra.
“But he also made it clear he wanted the move. We wish him all the best and there are no hard feelings, but it is the right decision. It frees up some money for the summer for some new and fresh energy.
“I am always a bit careful when a player is here and wants to go, to then bring him back in – it is like putting food in a microwave it is never as good as when it was freshly cooked. It is beneficial for us.”

So, it sees Leeds sell another of the players that Jesse Marsch signed – only to leave a year later. Tyler Adams was another, joining Bournemouth too. The American skipper has been injured for all of 23-24.
There are going to be more. Diego Llorente is expected to join Roma permanently, Everton want to sign Jack Harrison despite their finances. Marc Roca has openly admitted he is keen to join Real Betis.
Hopefully, Leeds are able to strike these deals and bring some cash into the club to allow Farke and his team to scour the market for some new signings in the summer. Sinisterra’s move rakes in £20m.
