Leeds United are still active in the summer transfer market but face plenty of competition in landing their ideal targets in the window.
The Whites have been busy over the past few months, with Daniel Farke’s squad undergoing plenty of change.
Archie Gray made his move to Tottenham in the first key exit for the club, before Crysencio Summerville joined West Ham.
It marked two major losses for the Leeds boss, who has been forced to rebuild his side for the Championship campaign without those star players.
Joe Rodon and Jayden Bogle were added to bolster the defensive ranks, while Joe Rothwell made the loan switch from AFC Bournemouth to help in midfield.
There are still questions over attacking reinforcements though, with a replacement for Summerville a clear priority.
One of those who has been linked with a move to Leeds is Norwich City star Jonathan Rowe, but they aren’t alone in their interest.

Jonathan Rowe transfer latest
Rowe is also attracting interest from French side Olympique Marseille, which has added competition for Leeds to land the forward.
The 21-year-old didn’t feature for Norwich in their opening-day defeat to Oxford United or the EFL Cup victory over Stevenage.
With a potential transfer on the cards, The Whites may have to act fast as interest in Rowe heats up this summer.
According to local outlet Pink Un, Marseille have tabled a second offer for Rowe, but it is still below the asking price of the Canaries.
A loan with an obligation to buy was proposed by the Ligue 1 outfit, with an agreement still far apart at this stage.
It means that, while the intensity of talks seems to be increasing, there is still a chance for Leeds to land a deal for Rowe this summer – should they meet the valuation.

Leeds transfer approach
The approach taken by Leeds so far is less than ideal for Farke, given the fact that his squad isn’t complete while the season is underway.
The lack of a replacement for Summerville at this stage is a blow, not only because a quality alternative isn’t in but if they do arrive, it may take time to adjust.
With just two weeks remaining in the window, The Whites may have to be proactive to land their ideal targets in their key positions.
If it means Rowe is that replacement for Summerville, then the board may have to move fast to ensure that the Leeds boss is given that quality option out wide.
Until then, the challenge will be in getting Leeds off to a better start than last season to give the best chance of promotion back to the Premier League.
