Leeds United’s chances of signing Harry Wilson hinge on Fulham agreeing three signings

Leeds United continue to push for Fulham’s Harry Wilson after missing out on Facundo Buonanotte and Emi Buendia this summer.

The 49ers have turned to Wilson to boost their attacking ranks after a loan bid to Aston Villa for Buendia was rejected after Chelsea hijacked Facundo Buonanotte’s Leeds move.

The Yorkshire side are clearly trying to fulfil Daniel Farke’s wishes, with all of these players fitting the versatile winger or No.10 profile that Farke wants.

Harry Wilson is also a player Marcelo Bielsa wanted to bring to Elland Road during his tenure, and now it could finally happen if Fulham allow him to make the move.

Harry Wilson move depends on Fulham’s other transfer business

According to Joe Donnohue of FourFourTwo, Leeds United’s chances of signing Harry Wilson from Fulham are directly tied to the London club’s own transfer business.

The move for Wilson hinges on whether Fulham chiefs can finalise multiple deals for players like Tyrique George, Samu Chukwueze, and Kevin.

While Leeds have already had an initial loan offer for Wilson rejected, the player is reportedly awaiting the go-ahead.

His move to Elland Road appears to be contingent on Fulham successfully securing their own attacking reinforcements before the transfer window closes.

Harry Wilson’s supposed flight to Leeds delayed

Eagle-eyed Leeds United fans have been tracking a private jet on flight radar apps, with the flight’s destination of Leeds sparking speculation that it could be carrying transfer target Harry Wilson.

The Welsh international is currently with the national squad in Cardiff, which is where the private aircraft was scheduled to fly from.

The flight was expected to depart over an hour ago but has been hit with delays, with a new dispatch time of 4:25 PM, and still no guarantee of take-off.

This hold-up may be directly linked to the complexity of the deal, with Fulham holding out on letting Wilson move before they have secured deals for other squad members.
