Leeds United transfer rumours latest, including updates on Nico Gonzalez, Rodrigo Muniz, and Leif Davis.
The transfer window has just over three weeks remaining for the 49ers and Leeds United, who are running out of time as they look for players in the market and as more transfer news emerges to add to their seven summer signings.
A busy end to the summer still lies ahead at Leeds as Daniel Farke looks to improve several areas of the side, with the Leeds squad getting closer to completion and feeling more ready ahead of the club’s return to the Premier League.
Lukas Nmecha, Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Sean Longstaff, Anton Stach, and Lucas Perri have all bolstered Leeds’ ranks in recent months, meaning they are making plenty of progress but more are still set to follow.
In the meantime, with vital weeks ahead for the recruitment team and with Farke’s team in pre-season ahead of Everton visiting Elland Road, here we have taken a look at some of the latest transfer news and the biggest headlines coming out of the club.

Atalanta drop out of Rodrigo Muniz race
Serie A outfit Atalanta BC are also in the race for Muniz. In fact, Atalanta were said to be pushing harder to sign Muniz, with representatives meeting with Fulham in recent days.
Truthfully, outside of Leeds, Atalanta have had the strongest interest thus far, but they have been put off by Fulham’s asking price of Muniz amid Fulham’s firm Muniz stance of not wanting to sell.
Now, Atalanta have moved on to other targets over Muniz, with Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta emerging as their primary target. It perhaps leaves Leeds with an easier path to Muniz’s signature.

Nico Gonzalez interest emerges from Leeds
Nico Gonzalez has been linked to Leeds, with the Argentinian Juventus forward one of the latest options to emerge after Leeds missed out on Igor Paixao.
| Team | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| Argentinos Juniors | 47 | 11 | 2 |
| VfB Stuttgart | 79 | 23 | 10 |
| ACF Fiorentina | 125 | 38 | 19 |
| Juventus | 38 | 5 | 4 |
| Argentina | 43 | 6 | 3 |
Leeds need a few more attackers yet, and Gonzalez can operate as a winger or striker. This is not the first time his name has been mentioned, with Marcelo Bielsa keen on Gonzalez at Stuttgart in 2020 (The Mirror).

Leif Davis has Premier League interest from Nottingham Forest
Ipswich Town swooped for Leif Davis from Leeds under Kieran McKenna’s tutelage. It is there that he has remained since following being sold for below £1.5 million under Jesse Marsch.
West Ham United have previously had Davis interest but there has since been further Premier League intrigue named, with top flight clubs eyeing the Championship left-back again.
Davis is now a target for Nottingham Forest, with the attack-minded full-back or wing-back the subject of plenty of Premier League interest, with Ipswich knocking back offers for him already from other clubs.
