Leeds United transfer rumours latest, including the latest on Leicester City full-back James Justin, Liverpool winger Ben Doak, and Fotis Ioannidis forward talk.
The transfer window has just over two weeks remaining for the 49ers and Leeds United, who are running out of time as they look for players in the market and as more transfer news emerges to add to their eight summer signings.
A busy end to the summer still lies ahead at Leeds as Daniel Farke looks to improve several areas of the side, with the Leeds squad getting closer to completion and feeling more ready ahead of the club’s return to the Premier League.
Lukas Nmecha, Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Sean Longstaff, Anton Stach, Lucas Perri, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin have all bolstered Leeds’ ranks in recent months, meaning they are making plenty of progress but more are still set to follow.
In the meantime, with vital weeks ahead for the recruitment team and with Farke’s team preparing ahead of Everton visiting Elland Road, here we have taken a look at some of the latest transfer news and the biggest headlines coming out of the club.

Leeds’ search for more forwards amid Fotis Ioannidis transfer talk
Leeds have been known to be in the market for a centre-forward, with Calvert-Lewin plugging that gap. However, Leeds want further forwards in the transfer window.
However, Nmecha and Calvert-Lewin are both central strikers and it is something of a surprise to see the BBC reporting that the club are reportedly chasing a deal for Panathinaikos forward Fotis Ioannidis.
It’s since been stated that Ioannidis will cost £26 million for interested suitors. It’s unclear if Leeds will now pursue the deal, given that they are more keen to add in a wide forward and attack-minded midfielder to complete their frontline.

Leeds target Ben Doak heads to Premier League rival
Ben Doak could be an option for Farke’s side ahead of the transfer deadline after we suggested Doak of Liverpool as a loan option for Leeds this month. Now, he has since emerged as a serious option.
It’s stated Doak is one winger Leeds have discussed and that sources close to the player and Anfield indicated Leeds have expressed interest in the 19-year-old.
Doak is the right profile for a team like Leeds, but there is other interest. It’s also stated that AS Monaco and Bologna are also interested in Doak.
It appears Liverpool are open to selling Doak this window but Doak is headed to AFC Bournemouth for £25 million instead of Leeds.

James Justin’s mentality on Leeds role
James Justin could become Leeds’ ninth signing of the summer. Leeds United News revealed exclusively that Leicester City’s Justin is on Leeds’ radar.
Since then, Justin and Leeds are closing in on an agreement. Despite his wealth of experience after six years with the Foxes, the Leicester defender arguably needs a fresh start at Leeds.
They are now closing in on the deal to bring him in. Not only that, but Justin’s mentality is to become a Leeds starter, be that in place of Jayden Bogle or Gabriel Gudmundsson.
