Leeds United transfer rumours latest, including updates on Habib Diarra, Rodrigo Muniz, and Juventus duo Douglas Luiz and Timothy Weah.

The transfer window has been open for a while and Leeds United are continuing their momentum in the market as concrete transfer news and rumours are emerging with every passing day of the window for Daniel Farke.

A busy summer is expected at Leeds as Farke looks to improve several areas of the side, with the Leeds squad far from ready ahead of the club’s return to the Premier League in spite of the additions of Lukas Nmecha and Jaka Bijol in recent weeks.

In the meantime, with vital months ahead for Farke, the 49ers, and Leeds’ recruitment team, here we have taken a look at some of the latest transfer news and the biggest headlines coming out of the club.

A second Rodrigo Muniz bid readied by Leeds

It’s likely that a club-record fee from Leeds is required to sign Rodrigo Muniz but there have been promising signs in their hopes of capturing him of late.

Ricardo Pepi could be a Muniz replacement while two other strikers have been linked to Fulham to replace Muniz in recent days.

Now, Leeds are readying a second Muniz bid after an initial £32 million package was rejected. However, the same report states Newcastle United are interested in the striker as well.

Sunderland join the Habib Diarra race as Leeds step up efforts

The 49ers tabled a bid of £23.9 million for Habib Diarra. However, other recent reports state Strasbourg demand closer to £25 million for Diarra

Fabrizio Romano claims Leeds will step up their Diarra efforts in the coming days, with the need for a midfielder becoming more apparent as a priority addition for Leeds early in the window.

However, Sunderland are now in the race for Diarra and could offer far more than the quoted £25 million. Alan Nixon claims it could be closer to £35 million to land Liam Rosenior’s captain.

Leeds eye double swoop involving Juventus duo Douglas Luiz and Timothy Weah

Leeds are in the race to sign Douglas Luiz from Juventus, and it is also understood that Juventus are ready to take a financial hit on Luiz this summer as well.

Luiz could be a part of a dream Leeds midfield if they can secure the signing. Now, Leeds lead the race for Luiz, per the latest reports coming out of Italy.

However, he is not the only Juve player linked with a move to West Yorkshire. That’s because Timothy Weah is a target for Leeds after rejecting a switch to Nottingham Forest.
