Leeds United transfer rumours latest, including updates on Nick Pope, Anthony Caci, Sebastiaan Bornauw, and Max Wober.
The transfer window has been open for a while and Leeds are continuing their momentum in the market as concrete transfer news and rumours are emerging with every passing day of the window for Leeds United.
A busy summer is expected at Leeds as Daniel Farke looks to improve several areas of the side, with the Leeds squad far from ready ahead of the club’s return to the Premier League in spite of the additions of Lukas Nmecha and Jaka Bijol in recent weeks.
In the meantime, with vital months ahead for Farke, the 49ers, and Leeds’ recruitment team, here we have taken a look at some of the latest transfer news and the biggest headlines coming out of the club.

Nick Pope not expected to join Leeds
For some time now, Nick Pope has been a top target for Leeds but Pope was always likely to be a tough deal for Leeds to complete from Newcastle United.
That said, with Pope entering the final 12 months of his Newcastle deal, many hoped a deal could be struck. With James Trafford closing in on a switch, Pope’s Newcastle exit appears likelier from the Leeds perspective.
That hasn’t proven to be the case, as Beren Cross may have put an end to any remaining Leeds links to Pope in recent updates. Newcastle won’t budge and Pope is content as second-choice next year.

Leeds now reportedly lead the Anthony Caci race
For a few weeks now, it has been stated that Anthony Caci is someone Leeds like, as the versatile 1. FSV Mainz 05 player has shown his attacking proficiency by quickly turning defence into attack.
In the Championship, that is something Farke prides his system on. Even if that may change in the Premier League, Caci is someone with an interesting profile; he can operate as a wing-back, full-back or as an out-and-out winger.
The latest reports believe that Leeds now appear to head the queue for Caci ahead of the likes of Fulham. The Spaniard could be in line for a Premier League switch in that case.

Max Wober could depart as Sebastiaan Bornauw arrives
It’s been well documented now that VfL Wolfsburg’s Sebastiaan Bornauw has had a medical with Leeds after they agreed a fee of around £5 million for the Belgian.
In many ways, Bornauw’s physical profile makes sense for Leeds. To go one further, Bornauw has been likened to Daniel van Buyten. The legendary Bayern Munich ace is his agent.
However, Bornauw’s arrival will trigger a Max Wober exit. The Austrian is of interest to numerous Bundesliga clubs, including Borussia Monchengladbach and Wolfsburg.
