The January transfer window is well underway and Leeds’ transfer business is slowly starting to gather pace.

Daniel Farke’s side have enjoyed an impressive start to the Championship season and look well-placed to be in the promotion pack come May.

With that being said, fans will undoubtedly be calling for Leeds to strengthen this month to avoid back-to-back promotion failures.

Farke though has claimed Leeds won’t be very active in January, with outgoings more likely at Elland Road.

But as fan knows the January transfer window is a time filled with chaos and desperation – something Leeds have become very familiar with over the years.

Farke and co’s quest to sign another attacking option has seen them linked to a whole host of names in recent weeks, with the likes of Alvyn Sanches attracting interest from Leeds.

Dor Turgeman is yet another name on their wishlist and the Maccabi Tel Aviv star could have just taken a step closer to a potential move to Elland Road.

This comes as Turgeman has reportedly turned down a move to the MLS, potentially opening the door for the Whites to make a move.

Leeds will be encouraged by this news but any deal won’t be easy with Maccabi Tel Aviv boss Zarko Lazetic desperate to keep Turgeman till at least the summer.

On the subject of links with attacking players, Leeds United are also said to be targeting Mike Tresor, despite the Burnely forward playing a total of zero minutes so far this campaign.

The Belgian forward impressed back in his homeland before his Turf Moor transfer in 2023 and that form is said to be tempting the Whites into a possible move.

Unused by Scott Parker so far this term, Tresor’s Burnley situation has been labelled as ‘mysterious’ by Burnley Express journalist Matt Scrafton – something which may deter Leeds from making a move.
