Leeds United aren’t stopping anytime soon in this transfer window, with the next deal not far around the corner.
It’s been a busy first few months of the transfer window, with Leeds making six new additions.
Daniel Farke has been in the thick of it, strengthening both the midfield and defence ahead of what is expected to be a gruelling Premier League campaign.
As six signings have come through the door, Leeds are now trying to ‘lure’ Igor Paixao, as the Brazilian could be their major attacking transfer this window.
The hope is that the Whites could have their next Raphinha, and now the 49ers have made their first move.

Leeds United table first bid for Feyenoord’s Igor Paixao
Paixao comes with a pedigree from the Eredivisie as the 25-year-old has been on fire since moving to Rotterdam.
However, after three seasons since his departure from Brazil, a new challenge awaits the winger, and following Marseille’s ‘final offer’ for Paixao being rejected, Leeds are now moving in.
The competition is out of the way, and it appears Leeds were waiting for the time to strike, as now is the perfect opportunity.
According to Fussball Europa journalist, Andre Oechsner, it’s claimed that Leeds have tabled their first bid for Paixao after weeks of waiting.
The Swiss outlet reports that an offer of £30.3m plus bonuses have been sent, after it was said the Dutch side want around £35m for the winger.
The 49ers have made their first move, and now it’s a case of waiting as Feyenoord hold the cards after personal terms won’t be an issue, showing that Paixao wants the move.
Feyenoord could reject Leeds’ opening offer for Paixao
Despite a solid bid being put on the table by the Leeds owners, it’s clear Feyenoord aren’t a side that accepts demands straight away.
That’s been seen with Marseille’s pursuit as the French giants have already had to submit three offers for the attacker, who is no doubt worth the hassle.
But Leeds won’t want to be bullied out of a deal, even though Paixao’s addition would revolutionise Farke’s plans.
However, after just over £30m has been submitted, there could be a case that Feyenoord want the £35m up front rather than the bonuses added.
This is only judging off their hardball approach with Marseille, who have now seemingly pulled out of the deal.
Paixao was ‘impressed’ by Leeds’ presentation, and the player will have no problem making his first major switch to Elland Road, but for now, it’s a waiting game.
