Daniel Farke might face a challenge in keeping his main assets at Leeds United if promotion is achieved this season.
Although the squad will like the thought of Premier League football, this could also open the door for highly-rated players to make a move elsewhere.
On the other hand, they’ll have players who haven’t hit the ground running and will look for a departure, as Isaac Schmidt could exit Leeds in the summer.
Farke will have to try his best to keep hold of his key stars at the club, but it could prove difficult.
Well, one player has made his feelings clear about a future away from Leeds with a Champions League club in the picture.

Leeds United’s Joel Piroe open to joining Champions League club
It’s certainly a name Leeds fans wouldn’t have expected, but Joel Piroe may not have a long-term Leeds stay.
The Whites picked up the Dutchman for £10.5m from Swansea City in the summer of 2023 and has been a revelation at Elland Road.
Piroe has 21 goal involvements in the Championship, as Farke can’t risk losing his main man up top.
The Leeds manager loves his striker, as Farke has called Piroe selfless, which is a rare trait to have in today’s game, but Piroe might have other ideas away from Leeds.
Speaking to ESPN Netherlands, Piroe has talked about a return to Champions League side PSV, which is where he started his career.
“Absolutely. I had a wonderful time there (PSV), and sometimes it still feels like unfinished business.”

Piroe will attract attention if Leeds gain promotion
Leeds have a few players who will catch glimpses of high-level sides next season, such as Pascal Struijk, Dan James, and Piroe himself.
Farke won’t help matters if the Whites do get promoted, as many European outfits will look at Piroe’s record in the Championship and lick their lips.
The future of the striker has never really been considered with Piroe only in his second season with the club, and the Leeds manager won’t even want to think about the prospect.
Someone like Wilson Isidor could replace Piroe at Leeds if he did leave, but even the Sunderland striker would struggle to replicate Piroe’s importance to Farke’s side.
