Leeds United are yet to make any significant moves in the January transfer window with Daniel Farke making it clear he expects a quiet month – but players do continue to be linked with the club.
Most of the activity round Leeds is in terms of outgoings. Joe Gelhardt is due to have a medical at Hull City on Monday, while Charlie Crew is set for a loan move before the end of the January transfer window.
Even Patrick Bamford has suitors with Daniel Farke’s nemesis John Eustace interested in luring Bamford to Blackburn Rovers. Leeds have been linked with plenty of new signings, but are yet to make any moves.
One player on the radar at Elland Road is Middlesbrough striker Emmanuel Latte Lath. But, The Whites are not the only club interested with Mateusz Klich’s new club Atlanta United being linked with Latte Lath.

Leeds are likely to be in the market for a striker with Gelhardt going and possibly, Bamford following him. Bamford is currently out injured until the end of January but losing both leaves a lack of cover up top.
The Mail say Leeds, Ipswich and West Ham are interested in Latte Lath. West Ham had cooled interest in Latte Lath but injury to Niclas Fullkrug against Aston Villa may see them reignite a move for the striker.
The report says Atlanta have now tabled a £20m bid for Latte Lath. Leeds meanwhile have planned a meeting on Monday to discuss recruitment, though it is unlikely Leeds will pay £20m for a striker.
What Michael Carrick has said about Latte Lath’s future
The striker has impressed in patches for Boro since joining the club, scoring 28 goals in 64 matches for the Teesside club. This season he has 10 goals, sitting on the same amount as Leeds star Joel Piroe.
Carrick has discussed Latte Lath, simply saying he has no idea what will happen: “For me to sit here and say I’m confident or I’m not confident, it doesn’t matter or affect it. We’ve no idea what might come.”
But even if Leeds were hell-bent on signing Latte Lath, would he start? Probably not. Piroe has the same amount of goals and more assists in less minutes while Mateo Joseph is a long-term option for Leeds.
