Leeds United might have accidentally confirmed player is staying on their official website

With signings already coming into Leeds United this summer, there haven’t been too many departures.

With PSR once again in the limelight for many clubs, the 49ers will have to figure out a way to balance the incomings and outgoings.

Jaka Bijol’s £15m transfer was excellent business, but remains the highest fee of the window so far in Leeds’ shoes.

This will have to be evened out by sales as Mateo Joseph leaving could give £42.5m to the Whites.

But other players could also be on the chopping block; however, it seems one could stay after a subtle hint.

Leeds United might have confirmed Sam Byram is staying with hint

It’s become apparent that Sam Byram is no longer a Leeds player due to his contract expiring along with Junior Firpo.

The difference is that Firpo will join Betis as confirmed by the club, but there has been no update on Byram’s future.

Leeds want Byram to stay as contract talks could be getting underway as we speak, but there has been no update of any sort.

Byram has played a key role as a squad player over the last two seasons, and it would be strange if Daniel Farke didn’t continue his solidity in the Premier League.

Well, with no news on his future, a little hint from the Leeds home kit launch might have just revealed something.

On the Leeds United website, the Whites are selling kits with Byram on the back, indicating that he could be staying with his name available, but this could also be inadvertent, with the website automatically doing it; it’s certainly something though.

What Aidy White said about Byram gives Leeds easy choice

With talks potentially progressing well, this hint could certainly be plausible.

Coming through the academy and rejoining is the exact type of player Farke needs as Leeds look to survive in the top flight, and he does come up with the odd contribution now and then.

This goal alone epitomises why Farke need to keep hold of the right-back, as his hard work and desire stands out.

Some fans don’t want Byram to stay at Leeds, but it’s a harsh sentiment to give the defender who hasn’t really put a foot wrong.

Aidy White is one of those who would love to see the 31-year-old remain at Elland Road with White suggesting it’s a ‘no-brainer’.

You’d have to agree, one, it’s saving money, two, you’re getting an option who will be happy with his status, and three, an experienced head is sticking around

This hint might be the news Leeds fans have been waiting for as Byram could be staying on.
