As the Premier League season soon gets underway, Leeds United have dropped their famous home threads.

It’s set to be a historic season for Leeds as if Daniel Farke can guide his team to safety, the Whites have every chance.

However, the Premier League is a cruel mistress, and it hasn’t presented the German with the easiest of starts.

Nevertheless, July is set to be a month of promise as many new arrivals are set to be added on top of the three who have already settled in at Elland Road.

Now, these signings will need to wear the new home strip, as Leeds fans weren’t keen on the leaked kit, and that feeling remains now that the official home kit has been released.

Leeds United fans all say the same thing about 25/26 home kit

After a season full of success reality may soon hit Farke and the 49ers about the mammoth task at hand.

There have been talks that £150m could be spent this summer which gives them an added chance of survival no doubt.

But fans will want to see a kit worthy of playing in England’s elite, and it seems the owners and Adidas have already failed on that account.

Flocking over to X to see the new home strip released by the club’s social media, fans have made their feelings very clear, and they’re not happy.

@josh_t95 said: “Very low effort. At least get the Lowfields tunnel in the promo if you’re gonna feature it on the kit.”

@17DJB claimed: “Ladies and Gentlemen, I’m delighted to introduce you to the most dull kit and kit launch in the history of football.”

“The red looks horrible on the kit. Not even from a traditional point of view, it just doesn’t go at all,” @loiner85 doesn’t like the Red Bull logo.

@mickpadgett won’t be buying, as he said: “got last years kit thank you. Very lazy.”

@Alfonzo_020 agreed, saying: “Sorry lads your still wearing last years, oh wait no it’s a tiny bit different my bad.”

@McClumsy84 will be shocked if it does well: “Not very different to last season’s kit, so will be surprised if it’s a big seller.”

Leeds missed obvious trick which could have made 25/26 home kit instant hit

You can’t really argue with the fans’ claims that the difference is stark as there isn’t much to go off.

The Lowfields tunnel design being added is a nice touch, but that’s about it as fans might feel disappointed with the kit launch.

But the more concerning factor is the big Red Bull logo in its traditional colours.

Leeds would have had an instant hit if they had blended the sponsor in with the Whites’ traditional colours of blue and yellow, as that already shows a major change.

Luckily for the owners’ sake, fans really like the leaked away kit, but it has to be said this year’s home kit is a complete flop.
