Leeds United have been linked with a surprise move to bring Manor Solomon back to Elland Road having waved goodbye to the Tottenham winger at the end of his loan, last season.
Solomon remains a fond figure in the hearts of Leeds fans after his 23 goals and assists last season, after he replaced Crysencio Summerville on Leeds’ left. He scored the goal that won Leeds the League title.
But Solomon returned to Tottenham after his loan. The Israel star believed his form and a manager was enough to try and reignite his Tottenham spell, having only played six times before tearing his meniscus.
An injury in pre-season worsened Solomon’s chances of impressing Frank. But he was on the bench against Bournemouth at the weekend and now, an update regarding a possible return to Elland Road.

Leeds United make late Manor Solomon decision on deadline day
Spurs have brought in plenty of new signings and the chances of Solomon actually getting the required game time in North London was always unlikely. Solomon is said to be keen on a Premier League move.
Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa are said to have taken a look at Solomon, but Forest are signing Dilane Bakwa and Villa are netting Jadon Sancho. The Mail share the latest on their deadline day blog (01/09).
They say that Leeds actually considered re-signing Solomon after Chelsea hijacked Leeds’ move to sign Facundo Buonanotte. But, Leeds have decided not to bring the former Fulham man back to Yorkshire.
Aadam Patel reports: “Solomon is expected to remain at Tottenham. After Leeds’ move for Facundo Buonanotte was hijacked by Chelsea, the club did consider bringing Solomon back again on loan. But unless things shift later, that move currently looks unlikely.”

The shock club considering a late move for Manor Solomon
Recent seasons have seen Leeds and Leicester conjure up a rivalry. The antics of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and the Leicester squad in 2023-24 saw the two sides become enemies, even if James Justin has joined.
Well, it seems Solomon could also cross that bridge before deadline day if, as Patel reports, things do change. With Leeds not interested, Ben Jacobs reports that Leicester are discussing a Solomon move.
Whether Solomon is tempted to go back to the Championship remains to be seen but it might be that he has a decision to make. Warm the bench at Tottenham, or help Leicester get promoted this season.
