Spurs winger Manor Solomon faces an uncertain future ahead of transfer deadline day, following his successful season on loan with Leeds United.

The Manor Solomon links to Leeds United refuse to go away, with recent days highlighting that Solomon’s wife wants a return to Leeds this summer.

All summer long now, the question has been regarding a return to Leeds. That’s despite the fact Solomon’s social media post appeared to be a Leeds farewell previously.

Having elected to return to Tottenham to attempt to fight for his place in their side under new manager Thomas Frank, developments since have revealed that Spurs are now open to Solomon leaving, be that on loan or permanently.

Manor Solomon could join Premier League teams on loan from Spurs

Graham Smyth doesn’t think Leeds need Solomon and the 26-year-old winger was an unused substitute yesterday for Spurs during their 1-0 defeat to AFC Bournemouth.

Reports previously state Solomon will cost just shy of £20 million. That is if he doesn’t remain in north London for the 2025/26 season.

It now looks unlikely, in spite of being reintroduced to matchday squads for Spurs of late. Di Marzio and Sky Sports Italy journalist Luca Bendoni has revealed the latest on the Israeli’s situation.

He says: “Tottenham winger Manor Solomon wants to stay in the Premier League and is looking for solutions. Spurs are open to a loan move.”

Following reports previously that they were open to selling, it’s an intriguing development that Tottenham are now open to a loan move for him. Leeds could be tempted to make a move before the deadline.

Kevin De Bruyne’s view of Manor Solomon in the Premier League

Daniel Farke has made clear he wants a versatile creative player at the least, and since then Farke has doubled down on Leeds needing attacking additions to the 49ers publicly and maybe as many as two more if they are to survive the drop.

Solomon ticks the box of the former, and Man City icon Kevin De Bruyne, now of Napoli, has previously praised him. De Bruyne said Solomon has what it takes to play in the Premier League and is “excellent”, before a Nations League match.

Before Belgium played Israel back in September, he said: “I know Manor Solomon from the Premier League. From Fulham, Tottenham, and now he has moved to Leeds. He has the qualities to play at this level. He is an excellent player.”
