Leeds United get new encouragement as Hoffenheim’s latest move speaks volumes for Anton Stach

Anton Stach is the name to keep an eye on after Leeds United complete Sean Longstaff’s move.

Daniel Farke is expecting a midfield revolution that will compete in the Premier League.

It can be arguably claimed that the middle of the park is where you need to be strongest in the battle for survival, and adding Longstaff’s attacking intent and potentially Statch’s dominance is a big plus.

Longstaff looks all but confirmed, but Stach still has some implications as the Hoffenheim midfielder is making the brave choice to move from the Bundesliga for the first time.

Stach has agreed on personal terms, and Hoffenheim’s next move has spoken volumes to Leeds fans.

Hoffenheim’s latest move speaks volumes for Leeds United target Anton Stach

Stach stands at 6’4 and brings a new feeling to Farke’s midfield.

Leeds are lacking the bulldozer who provides an aura in the team, and the German’s got that in abundance from his time in Germany, specifically against the nation’s best.

Despite the fairly smooth process of the 26-year-old so far, Leeds aren’t happy with Stach’s public presence, as the deal being out there gives Hoffenheim the chance to be tricky negotiators.

But it seems as though they are focusing away from Stach, as a replacement has been lined up.

In fact, it’s a successor that Whites fans might know well after Leeds were tipped to sign Wilfred Ndidi, as Hoffenheim are interested in the Leicester City star as Stach’s replacement.

How Stach has already fared against Premier League opposition

The plan from the 49ers is to build a Premier League-level squad, which might raise eyebrows at the Bundesliga being the destination for Leeds once again.

Stach has been dubbed ‘underrated’, which could give Leeds a gem in that sense, and in terms of his future fortunes in the Premier League, he’s had no problem against English opposition in the past.

Despite the defeat for Hoffenheim, Stach dominated a midfield containing James Maddison and Rodrigo Bentancur, which gives insight into how he can compete among the greats in the English top flight.

It’s quite absurd that Leeds are getting a potential £17m deal when you take into account the all-rounder type of player he is, and at just 26, Leeds need to get this sorted quickly before other clubs realise what they’re missing out on.
