Leeds United’s outgoing transfer business could actually extend beyond today’s 11pm deadline.

There is now just a matter of hours for teams to complete any remaining signings and at this stage, it is only Connor Roberts who seems likely to come through the door.

Despite Daniel Farke’s insistence that no one else would leave in his presser on Wednesday, it would appear that there could also be some departures.

Ian Poveda is attracting interest from both Birmingham City and Sheffield Wednesday, and with his contract set to expire in the summer, a move would bring an end to his time at Elland Road.

Bournemouth are also keen to make Luis Sinisterra’s move to the South Coast permanent, but according to Leeds Live, that may not happen until after tonight’s deadline.

Sinisterra could depart after deadline

It is said that the two clubs are expected to come to an agreement over a permanent move in the coming days after the transfer window is closed, as given he is already on loan there, it is not time-sensitive.

However, Leeds will not accept anything less than the £21 million they paid Feyenoord to sign him back in the summer transfer window of 2022.

Bournemouth have an option-to-buy Sinisterra at the end of the season, though it only becomes active if Leeds fail to get promoted back to the Premier League.

With that in mind, Bournemouth are looking to get in there early to avoid any potential saga in the summer and end any possibility of him returning to Leeds.

Sinisterra would’ve been one of, if not the only loanee you would back to comeback and make an impact at Leeds if they were promoted, but after Angus Kinnear’s comments back in September, it was just never likely.
