There have been a few peculiar decisions made by the Leeds United hierarchy already this window.
Some fans might debate that Habib Diarra’s £30m bid from Sunderland should have been matched.
It’s clear that Leeds lost out on a major target and will have to look elsewhere whilst their rivals strengthen.
But, you can’t argue with the 49ers’ urgency with transfers as following Sebastiaan Bornauw’s £5m arrival, that will be three signings through the door.
However, fans haven’t taken too kindly to a new announcement which has left the Leeds faithful baffled.
Leeds United fans baffled at Manor Solomon announcement
One target the Whites are set to miss out on was labelled as a ‘priority’ for Leeds this summer.
That player being Manor Solomon, who has taken the bold choice of not returning to Elland Road as Solomon wants to fight for his Tottenham place.
The winger’s choice seems to have shocked the Whites fans and also the hierarchy as it seemed destined that Solomon would return to Leeds.
But fans have pointed the blame at the 49ers after a recent announcement, as a few feel as though more should’ve been done to bring the Israeli back to Yorkshire.
After it was announced that Joe Rothwell and the 25-year-old would return back to their parent clubs, the Leeds faithful were not best pleased.
@JamesHague05 was in disbelief, saying: “Can’t believe we’re not signing our best attacker from last year.”
@ohmybritt claimed: “Not signing Solomon is a crime.”
“Bring Solomon home,” @LiamLeeds1919_ demanded.
@IrishPeacock exclaimed: “Should be signing Manor!”
@AlLUFC20 questioned the decision, saying: “Gonna miss Manor still think we should’ve signed him.”
“I don’t understand why we are not signing them.. Manor in particular!,” a baffled @RGJSumner1 said.

Angus Kinnear’s exit has ruined Leeds’ chances for Solomon
Solomon is seen as a hero in the fanbase’s eyes after he was the man who scored that late title-winning goal, which sent Leeds fans into bedlam at Home Park on the final day.
Not only this, but the winger was one of the more consistent performers throughout the campaign, and proved that the Premier League is definitely his level.
But to not be able to experience the top flight with Leeds is a dagger in the back for Daniel Farke.
Solomon’s agent said Daniel Levy has the power for the decision to be made, and although it looks like all parties are agreed at Spurs, it was actually Angus Kinnear’s exit which has handed Leeds the pivotal blow.
This was due to Kinnear’s great relationship with Levy, as the reason a loan deal came about in the first place was through their connection, and now the former CEO’s exit to Everton has cost Leeds.
Kinnear staying isn’t to say Solomon would’ve thrown himself at the Whites as the winger is clearly opting for a stay in North London, but it could’ve just made negotiations that little bit easier if something occurs further down the line.
