Leeds United fans are being made to wait this summer. Harry Wilson’s arrival is yet to be confirmed, and any further signings after that do not appear to be close.
Graham Smyth has reported that Wilson’s announcement will be confirmed this week. The Wales star is set to sign a four-year deal at Elland Road, finally arriving after Fulham stopped his move last summer.
£20m for Struijk: The best of a bad situation?
After eight years, Struijk is leaving Leeds.
Beyond Wilson, there has been interest in a few players, but nothing deemed close. Leeds have made two offers for Southampton midfielder Shea Charles, though a £20m bid, and a £23m bid, were turned down.
Interest in Julian Brandt has gone cold, while Italian media continue to link Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki with Leeds. However, sources in England suggest it is not happening. Now, two new transfer updates.
Double Leeds blow involving Zion Suzuki and Ladislav Krejci
Leeds are said to have made bids for Suzuki, with the Japan star impressing alongside Ao Tanaka at the World Cup across the pond. Leeds do need a goalkeeper with Lucas Perri a target for Serie A side Torino.

Karl Darlow is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal and Illan Meslier has left. But according to Nicolo Schira, Parma have rejected an offer from Leeds for Suzuki, with the fee offered said to be £18.75m.
On Tuesday, more bad news for Leeds. Wolves defender and Czech Republic captain Ladislav Krejci has been linked with a move to Elland Road this summer, despite the Midlands side suffering relegation.
However, Krejci looks set to become a teammate of Junior Firpo and Marc Roca’s. Reports in Spain say that Krejci is set for a move to Real Betis this summer, despite a difference of around £4m in price.

Plenty of work for Leeds to do after £20m departure
It is particularly worrying. By this point last summer, Leeds had made signings including Lukas Nmecha, but this time around, the Whites are yet to confirm an arrival. Pascal Struijk has joined Brighton for £20m.
Harry Gray, meanwhile, has gone to Sheffield Wednesday on loan, where he teams up with Liam Cooper. But in terms of incomings, sporting director Adam Underwood is under increasing pressure at Leeds.
How Leeds could line-up in 2026-27 with four new arrivals 👀
Suzuki, Charles, Brandt and Wilson all linked.
The Whites need a centre-back or two, with one replacing Struijk. They need cover at left-back, a new goalkeeper and possibly two if Darlow leaves, a better version of Brenden Aaronson and another attacker.
Lots of work to do, with pre-season set to start in the next few days. Leeds have got to get their act together quickly if they want to avoid relegation come next May, and avoid second-season syndrome.
