Largie Ramazani has endured a difficult 18 months. He might have been front and centre during Leeds United’s promotion party, but Ramazani has had little to celebrate on the pitch since joining Leeds.
Bought for £10m from Almeria in the summer of 2024 after Leeds had lost Crysencio Summerville, the Belgian winger arrived with huge hype. Certainly, there were glimpses last season of Ramazani’s magic.
But nowhere near enough. In 31 appearances for Leeds, he scored seven goals and laid on two assists with injuries hampering his progress. The former Man United star was not fancied by boss Daniel Farke.
Largie Ramazani doesn’t have any part to play for Leeds this season – Discuss 🤔
He could return this month…
Towards the end of last season, Farke even branded Ramazani as “lazy” and had “lost focus”. As soon as Leeds were promoted and the summer window opened, Ramazani was shipped out on loan to Valencia.
Beren Cross shares details of clause in Largie Ramazani loan
With Carlos Corberan’s side, things haven’t gone to plan again. Injuries have limited the Leeds ace to a total of just nine appearances and after a good start, Spanish media expect Ramazani loan to be axed.

The Athletic’s Beren Cross spoke on The Square Ball this week, and he said Ramazani has a clause in his loan deal that allows Leeds to accept loan offers from another club if they feel it would suit him better.
“It’s clear with Valencia that Ramazani is not a part of Corberan’s plans. Generally speaking, he’s not done enough there to turn heads. It’s strange that Ramazani is so well-regarded by the fans here,” Cross said.
“Most fans would take that trade – Harrison for Ramazani. It would be odd. My assumption is that there is a clause in Ramazani’s deal that would allow him to move to another loan club,” Cross said on Ramazani.
“I don’t know this for sure, but my assumption is that they would look for another club because I don’t imagine, enough has changed at Leeds for Farke to start using him,” Cross continued, on his future.
Would you integrate Largie Ramazani if his loan is cancelled?
Or would you send him back out on loan…
Why Jack Harrison could prove key in Ramazani’s next move
With Ramazani’s Valencia stint hanging by a thread, Jack Harrison has the power to be able to put the final nail in the coffin. Valencia are supposedly in talks to sign Harrison from Leeds this month.
Harrison has managed just one Premier League start for Leeds since being controversially reintegrated into the side by Farke. It came in the dismal 2-0 loss away at Burnley, one of the six losses in seven.
While Harrison was getting game time off the bench, that has dried up especially after he conceded a penalty against Nottingham Forest. Harrison is said to be keen on a move to La Liga side Valencia.
If Harrison does reunite with Corberan at Valencia, then Ramazani will surely be ushered out of the door and the clause in his loan contract with the Spanish side, activated. It doesn’t feel like a loss to Corberan.
