Valencia and Leeds United have already done business this season, agreeing a dry loan for Largie Ramazani. But when the January window opens, they could do another deal.
Having been in and out of the side during Leeds’ promotion year, Ramazani was ushered out on loan to Valencia in the summer. It saw Carlos Corberan raid his old side to bolster Valencia’s attacking ranks.
Do Leeds even NEED signings after enjoying success with a 3-5-2 formation?
Ramazani has struggled to reach the levels expected of him at Valencia under Corberan, with injury hampering his progress. Now, Ramazani’s development could be affected by a Leeds United teammate.
That is according to Spanish newspaper Marca, who claim Valencia have opened talks to form a reunion between former Leeds U21 manager Corberan and winger Jack Harrison, in the January window.

Of the fringe players in the Leeds squad, Harrison is likely to be considered one of the most expendable players. Given his future was in doubt when he returned in the summer, an exit was always possible.
Harrison has managed just one start. With the change to a 3-5-2, the need for a winger has reduced and while Harrison should be able to play as a wing-back, James Justin would be preferred to the winger.
Corberan is keen to make a few signings in January and despite the presence of Ramazani, who is back from an injury, Marca say Valencia and Corberan want Harrison, with talks for the Leeds man underway.

Jack Harrison needs a fresh start to save his career
If Harrison had a chance of making it at Leeds, any chance of that has gone since Farke adopted the 3-5-2 system. He’s the third choice to play wing-back on the left flank; so he has to consider an exit in January.
Leeds would love to sell Harrison, too. He has a contract until the summer of 2028, and any profit Leeds receives from his services would be a PSR profit, having joined permanently from Man City back in 2021.
Valencia would be a stunning move for Harrison. Spanish football may suit the experienced wide man, who is perhaps renowned more for his crossing and his delivery than his ability to take a defender on.
A loan is likely to be initial for Harrison if he was to join Valencia, but Leeds would be wise to organise a permanent option ahead of the summer. As things stand, Valencia are in talks but nothing more, yet.
