On-loan Leeds United winger Largie Ramazani has been told he needs to “step up” at Valencia after a difficult start to life in La Liga.
The decision to allow Largie Ramazani to join Valencia on a season-long loan was one of the most contentious made by Leeds this summer.
The winger was a popular member of the Leeds squad among the fanbase, but he had fallen down the pecking order under Daniel Farke.
However, Ramazani has struggled to make an impact at the Mestalla, having seen his progress hampered by injury.
Now, Ramazani’s feelings towards his future with Valencia have been reported in Spain, as he looks to turn around a difficult season in La Liga.

Largie Ramazani ‘confident’ he can turn around Valencia loan spell
According to a report in Diario AS, Ramazani needs to “step up” at Valencia after a frustrating injury ruled him out for several weeks of the season.
However, the report states that Ramazani remains confident that he can turn around his form with Valencia and help lift his team away from the relegation zone in the second half of the season.
“Largie Ramazani needs to step up in the second half of the season. The Belgian winger has barely made an impact at Valencia.
“After the Christmas break, Ramazani has reset and is confident he can earn Corberán’s trust now that he’s recovered from his recent physical discomfort.
“So far, Ramazani’s role at Valencia has been unremarkable. The player, on loan from Leeds, hasn’t started a single league match,” before adding: “Ramazani, like the rest of his teammates, returned to training on Saturday. The striker is confident he can turn his situation around in 2026.”

Leeds United should be wary of recalling Largie Ramazani
With Ramazani struggling to make a regular impact with Valencia, Leeds may be tempted to consider recalling him in January.
According to a recent report in The Athletic, Leeds have a clause allowing them to recall the forward in the transfer window, as they mull over whether he can contribute to their squad, or whether he may fare better at another club.
Do Leeds even NEED signings after enjoying success with a 3-5-2 formation?
However, former Leeds assistant coach Carlos Corberan made Ramazani one of his big summer signings and appears to have faith in the winger.
As a result, having agreed an initial season-long loan, Leeds should be wary of recalling the winger before he has had the chance to show his best form in La Liga.
