Leeds United are expected to complete their third summer signing in a matter of hours, with Sebastiaan Bornauw having passed his medical and ready to agree a four-year deal at Elland Road.
It has been a busy day at Elland Road and it could still get busier. Leeds have confirmed the exit of Junior Firpo on a free transfer, with Firpo also posting a touching video to fans after Leeds’ announcement.
The Whites have also confirmed that Manor Solomon will return to Tottenham, with Solomon said to have opted for a second chance at Spurs. Joe Rothwell is confirmed as returning to Bournemouth from Leeds.
Playmaker Rothwell is actually set to join Rangers, the first player to swap clubs owned by The 49ers. It could get even busier with Bornauw, while Leeds remain in the market for three Southampton players.

Leeds still eyeing moves for Southampton trio, including freebie
Since promotion has been confirmed, Leeds have been linked with north of 100 players according to LeedsUnited.News’ records. Among those include three players that have been relegated with Saints.
TeamTalk say Leeds could still sign three Southampton players. The first of which is England international Aaron Ramsdale, with Leeds in need of a goalkeeper. Ramsdale has a £20m relegation release clause.

Kyle Walker-Peters has confirmed he is leaving on a free transfer and Leeds could choose to bring the former Tottenham man to Elland Road, while Mateus Fernandes is a target for Leeds and Crystal Palace.
There is a case to be made for all three Southampton players
Walker-Peters has plenty of Premier League interest in his services, with a return to Tottenham also on the cards given Spurs need homegrown players for registration after qualifying for the Champions League.

But Walker-Peters would likely start above Jayden Bogle on the right and provide cover on the left flank. Leeds need full-backs with Firpo leaving the club, and Sam Byram currently out of contract at Elland Road.
Fernandes would be an improvement on Brenden Aaronson in the 10 role, though he would become the club’s second-most-expensive signing ever. The Saints want a £30m fee for Fernandes if they are to sell.
Ramsdale, of course, is a player Leeds should consider signing but with three Premier League relegations on his CV, do Leeds really want that kind of player at the club? Walker-Peters seems most likely.
