Just a year after he signed for Leeds United, he could be on the move. In truth, nobody could really blame him.
Leeds United have a team studded with quality. Many rival managers say that Daniel Farke has the best team in the league; the latest being Millwall manager Alex Neil who was full of praise for Leeds United after the Whites beat his side 2-0 earlier in March.
Farke has quality across the pitch and his side remain top of the Championship table despite a blip in form, and despite losing some really important players like Archie Gray and Georginio Rutter, among others, in the last summer transfer window.
Farke’s signings must be praised: Manor Solomon has been a revelation, so much so that Leeds United are desperate to sign Solomon on a permanent deal from Spurs, whilst the likes of Joe Rothwell and Ao Tanaka have also been great acquisitions.
Though it’s not all been positive for Farke’s 2024/25 signings with the likes of Isaac Schmidt and Largie Ramazani struggling for game time. The latter is now wanted elsewhere.

Deportivo de La Coruna linked with Leeds United’s Largie Ramazani
Leeds United signed Ramazani in a £10million deal last summer. The Belgian joined from La Liga outfit Almeria and he’s so far featured 25 times in the Championship, scoring four times. But of those 25 appearances only five has been from the start: the 24-year-old has started just one Championship game since October now.
And emerging reports in Spain suggest that second tier side Deportivo de La Coruna could offer Ramazani an escape from Elland Road. Amid fears of losing Yeremay Hernández to Cesc Fabregas’ Como side this summer, El Gol Digital are claiming that Coruna have identified Ramazani as a potential replacement.
Coruna’s ‘plan is to make Ramazani a starter’, though whether or not they could make Leeds’ valuation of the layer – whatever that might be, though expect it to be close to £10million – remains to be seen.

Daniel Farke spoke with Largie Ramazani over Leeds United form
Ramazani certainly hasn’t live up to his price tag yet. Despite having some tough competition for a starting spot, he’s yet to really impress when given a chance, and Farke knows that.
Earlier in the year, Farke revealed he’s spoken with Ramazani about his form, admitting that his previous cameos were unimpressive after Ramazani got on the scoresheet in a win over Sheffield Wednesday earlier in the year.
Farke said: “Delighted for him [after scoring against Wednesday] because I was a bit critical after his injury. Short cameos when he came back in were not convincing.”
But with Leeds eyeing promotion and Ramazani now attracting interest from elsewhere, it might be right for Farke and Leeds to admit that they got this signing wrong, and cash in before his stock decreases too much.
