Leeds United face a tough period of fixtures once the first international break of the season comes to a close.
The Whites have made a solid start to the campaign so far with eight points from their opening four matches, which sees them currently sat fourth in the table.
August was a month that provided many challenges off the pitch for Daniel Farke to navigate, including the sales of Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter.
However, four new signings were brought in ahead of the deadline and so the squad should have more of a settled feel to it when the season restarts again.
So, with that in mind, LeedsUnited.News have predicted Leeds’ next five matches until the next international break.
September 14: Burnley (H)
Leeds could not have asked for a more difficult match to get things back underway as they host a Burnley side who look strong again after a very bumpy end to the transfer window.
However, at the same time, this could be a good time to play the Clarets as Scott Parker looks to bed in their 13 new signings.
Based on the trajectory of the two clubs’ last two matches, as well as Elland Road advantage, Leeds may just about take all three points here.
Prediction: Leeds 2-1 Burnley
September 21: Cardiff City (A)
From a side challenging at the top of the division, to the one at the very bottom, Leeds face a long trip to Cardiff City after the clash with Burnley.
Cardiff have really struggled in their opening four matches of the season, scoring just one goal and conceding 10. They are still searching for their first win.
There really is no excuse not for Leeds to go to Cardiff and come away with anything other than a win.
Prediction: Cardiff 0-2 Leeds
September 28: Coventry City (H)
Leeds found Coventry City very difficult to play against last season as they were just one of four sides across the entire division they didn’t manage to beat.
Coventry have made quite a slow start to the new campaign but are likely to make things tough again for Leeds, particularly when it comes to breaking them down.
With Coventry also posing quite a significant threat at the other end, it would not be a surprise if Leeds were frustrated here.
Prediction: Leeds 1-1 Coventry
October 1: Norwich City (A)
Having met in the play-off semi-finals back in May, quite a lot has happened at both clubs in the three or four months that have followed since.
In Johannes Hoff Thorup, Norwich are still looking to get to grips with a new manager’s style of play, having also lost their best two players Gabriel Sara and Jonathan Rowe in the summer.
Given Norwich are now a side who like to open up and dominate possession, this could actually benefit Leeds in terms of how they want to play, with their pace.
Prediction: Norwich 1-3 Leeds

October 4: Sunderland (A)
Sky Sports have really done Leeds no favours with this one as just a couple of days after a long trip to Norwich, they then face another away match at Sunderland.
Sunderland are currently the only side still with a 100 per cent record in the Championship with former Leeds managerial target Regis Le Bris making a real impact.
The key to this one could be how well Farke looks to rotate his squad as he has plenty of options on the bench if necessary. A draw would perhaps be a decent result here.
