With Leeds’ first Premier League game getting closer, fans and manager Daniel Farke are growing frustrated at their lack of attacking options.
Leeds have missed out on numerous targets this window, including Igor Paixao who chose Marseille over Elland Road and Ritsu Doan who chose Eintracht Frankfurt instead.
Daniel Farke made a plea for more attackers, after Leeds’ Villarreal draw last week, but will the likes of Adam Underwood listen?
However, there is one man who could perform the ultimate u-turn and come back to Elland Road, Manor Solomon.

Manor Solomon could rescue Leeds United’s attacking vacancy
There are still reports that Leeds remain interested in signing Solomon permanently this summer. Despite Solomon telling Tottenham he wants a second chance after returning from Leeds loan, there is no guarantee of the minutes he would get at Spurs.
Recent reports state Solomon will cost just shy of £20 million, a similar price for other Leeds target Rodrigo Muniz, meaning Solomon’s price isn’t out the question and would be guaranteed minutes.
Farke spoke after Leeds played against Villarreal in pre-season, and highlighted how the club still haven’t replaced Solomon.
Via Beren Cross of The Athletic, Farke said: “Offensive-wise, if we are really honest, we have lost one of our main threats of the offence with Manor Solomon.
“Didn’t have many additions so far from then, if I am really honest. Then, you don’t have players like Dan James who’s important for us. Jack Harrison is not available due to injury.
“When they are not available, then of course, it’s a bit thin the offence. We know what we have to do and what we need.”
Given Daniel Farke’s struggles to find a suitable replacement for Manor Solomon, why not perform the ultimate U-turn and bring him back to Elland Road?

Manor Solomon’s performance at Leeds United last season
Manor Solomon had an outstanding season on loan at Leeds United during the 2024-2025 campaign, which culminated in the club’s promotion to the Premier League.
The winger, on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, was a key figure in their attack, scoring 10 goals and providing 12 assists in 39 league appearances.
His most significant contribution came in a dramatic finale to the season. With Leeds needing a victory to secure the championship title, Solomon scored a last-minute winner against Plymouth Argyle.
His 91st-minute solo goal in the 2-1 victory not only sealed the win but also crowned Leeds as champions, beating out Burnley on goal difference.
This moment of individual brilliance was a fitting end to a season where Solomon had been a creative and decisive force for the team.
