Leeds United extended their winning run to seven matches in the Championship with a 4-0 victory over Swansea City.
The Whites were in control throughout the entirety of the night having scored two quickfire goals inside the opening 10 minutes through Crysencio Summerville and Joel Piroe.
Willy Gnonto then continued his fine run of form by scoring twice either side of half-time, helping Leeds move up to second in the Championship for the first time at the end of a game week all season.
Daniel Farke provided Gnonto with a big show of faith last night as he opted to start the 20-year-old ahead of Dan James, who returned to the squad following three weeks on the sidelines.
James had been in some of the form of his life prior to his injury and has already amassed 10 goals and six assists so far this season, but he now faces a fight to get back into the team.

Farke’s style since taking over has been to reward those in form with consistent runs in the team and that has been what has helped James produce such an excellent return this season.
However, it could also now be what costs him a regular place in the side moving forward with Gnonto now very much in the best run of form in his last 12 months at Leeds.
On top of his two goals, Gnonto also provided the assist for Piroe to score against his former club. He is now up to six goal contributions for the season in the league. Half of those came last night.
It would be hugely unfair if Farke was to disrupt the rhythm Gnonto has generated over the last couple of weeks by sticking him back on the bench, and so he has now has a dilemma going forward.
Of course, Leeds have a very busy period of fixtures coming up and so James will get his opportunity, but surely now that right-wing spot is Gnonto’s to lose.
