Willy Gnonto and Georginio Rutter have provided a three-word explanation on how they would describe Leeds United.

Rutter has now been at Elland Road for just under 12 months now since his move from Hoffenheim in January, while Gnonto is pushing the 18 month mark after his arrival from FC Zurich.

Both players have experienced what it is like to be a fan favourite at Leeds, with Rutter very much one of them this season. Gnonto, meanwhile, was a player supporters loved in a tough season last year.

Gnonto, Rutter and Luke Ayling were all speaking in an interview for Leeds United’s YouTube in an episode of ‘Hot Takes’, and were asked to describe the club in three words.

Gnonto kicked things off by saying: “Passion, love and craziness,” before Rutter simply said: “Marching on Together,” an answer which Ayling was a fan of, and agreed with.

Gnonto deserves more minutes for Leeds

Since the debacle in the summer where Gnonto refused to play, fans have questioned whether his heart is still properly at the club, but there is no doubt that it is.

Gnonto is often doing media work for the club and always look dangerous in his opportunities from the bench, and he is certainly deserving of more minutes from the start.

Crysencio Summerville and Dan James have been in fine form as of late, but there are some matches where the skillset of Gnonto would be better suited, and Farke should recognise that.

Gnonto is also close with the likes of Rutter and Summerville off the pitch, and that sort of chemistry is only likely to transfer onto the field in a positive way on it.

With a busy period of fixtures coming up over the Christmas period, Gnonto is likely to get his chance to show what he can do, and hopefully he takes it.
