Leeds United had an exceptional end to the season on their way to winning the title, securing six wins in a row to seal 100 points.
Not only that, but their four defeats all season is a mark of their remarkable consistency and relentless ability to find an answer to a deficit, as well as their never say die attitude. Leeds also lost just one of the final 28 league games on their way to promotion and the title.

The month of April is often a cursed one for Leeds, with numerous Easter Weekends seeing the Whites fall apart again. This year, it was the total opposite for Daniel Farke’s side after a disappointing end to last season and broken records on the way to doing so.
Luton Town was the first game of the month and was a day Leeds dropped out of the top two, but it was the last game in a run of just one win in six. Since then, Leeds went on and claimed victory in each of their remaining games to pip Burnley to the title. Their accomplishments haven’t gone unnoticed, either.

Daniel Farke nominated for April’s Manager of the Month award
Daniel Farke has been nominated for April’s Manager of the Month award, having twice won it this season already in February and December.
The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
On Farke, the panel said: “If April began with an edginess among Leeds fans and a draw at Luton that dropped them to third, Farke’s absolute belief in his players swept them to automatic promotion with five straight wins, 14 goals scored and only one conceded.”
He is joined by Blackburn Rovers’ Valerien Ismael, Millwall’s Alex Neil, and Burnley’s Scott Parker.
| Statistics | Daniel Farke | Valerien Ismael | Alex Neil | Scott Parker |
| Games | 6 | 6 | 6 | 6 |

Leeds have been praised for their relentless ability to win late in games, including comparisons being made to Fulham under Marco Silva. Many pundits and neutrals believe Leeds are one of the best second tier teams in recent memory, and they illustrated that well in April after the disappointment of Luton.
The winner will be announced on Friday but Farke is not the only Leeds figure up for an award, with one of his players also nominated for the Player of the Month as well.

Manor Solomon nominated for April’s Player of the Month award
Manor Solomon has been nominated for April’s Player of the Month award, having been one of the shining lights to end the regular season in the Championship.
The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, EFL Chief Executive Trevor Birch, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
On Solomon, the panel said: “Solomon either scored or assisted in each of Leeds’ five April wins as they won promotion. A superb curler against Preston was equalled by the importance of the winner at Oxford, while his vision and calm passing featured in his five assists.”
The Championship final day hero against Plymouth Argyle, Manor Solomon is also joined by Burnley’s Josh Brownhill, Swansea City’s Harry Darling, and Millwall’s Mihailo Ivanovic.
| Opponent | Goals | Assists |
| Luton Town | 0 | 0 |
| Middlesbrough | 0 | 1 |
| Preston North End | 1 | 1 |
| Oxford United | 1 | 0 |
| Stoke City | 0 | 2 |
| Bristol City | 0 | 1 |
Leeds have a number of players who put the team on their back at different points in April, including Dan James in the first two games, Joe Rodon away at Boro and Oxford, Willy Gnonto in the final three games, and Jayden Bogle fairly consistently throughout.
However, other than Bogle, Solomon has most frequently come to the fore as a remarkable match-winner. In the Championship, he contributed to 22 goals in total but nine of those came in the final six games and eight came during April. He can’t do much more to win April’s Player of the Month prize.
