Tyler Adams is generating a huge amount of interest following Leeds United’s relegation to the Championship and Tottenham are one of a number of clubs who have been linked – while Leeds are reportedly looking at Harry Winks.

Adams, 24, has been linked with a number of European sides – as well as Premier League clubs. The Mail said this week that Forest have discussed him. 90Min say Liverpool, Newcastle, Manchester United and Spurs are interested.

It comes after a season of highs and lows for Adams. He starred for Leeds in the first half of the season, probably the best bit of business Leeds have done over the last 12 months. He was named USA captain for the World Cup.

But injury in the second half of the season limited Adams to just 26 games for Leeds. However, he proved he is a Premier League player and that means, he will leave this summer. It will be interesting to see where Adams goes.

However, there is the potential for a player-plus-cash deal – and that is due to Spurs being one of the clubs listed as interested in Adams. Samp News 24 claim that Leeds could launch a move to bring Harry Winks in at Elland Road.

Now, Tottenham are well-stocked in midfield. While the report claims they are interested in Adams, it will hardly be a problem position for Spurs – even with Rodrigo Bentancur out until November. But that could change this summer.

Depending on the futures of those midfielders in question, and how Ange Postecoglou wants to play. What is surely for certain, is that Winks has little future at Spurs – and Leeds are keen. There is a potential deal to be done here.

If Spurs move for Adams, then Leeds should look to immediately replace him by requesting Winks in a player-plus-cash deal for the USA star. A move that suits all – if, Winks is willing to drop into the Championship with Leeds.
