The Mail claim Nottingham Forest are considering a surprise move to sign Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams this summer – with the player’s agent said to have met numerous clubs last week before securing a summer transfer.
Adams, 24, is one of only a small group of players to come out of the 2022-23 season with positive marks. The USA skipper captained his country at the World Cup in Qatar, and without the midfielder, Leeds were defensively woeful.
The Whites are desperate to keep Adams ahead of a push for promotion at the first attempt but the likelihood is that Adams exits Leeds. The report says Forest have held transfer meetings ahead of the new season. Adams is a target.
Indeed, the report also states that Adams’ agent has met with a number of different teams in order to see what they are willing to offer – to sign Adams. Forest are interested. Bola Vip say Adams has a £30m relegation release clause.

Forest considering surprise move to sign Leeds midfielder Tyler Adams
It would be a massive surprise. Adams has been linked with some of Europe’s biggest sides. If he is to leave Leeds you would imagine he would want to join a club where the threat of relegation is nil. His form has certainly earned it.
Bigger clubs, and even some in European competition, will make their move for the USA skipper this summer. But, a move to Forest would guarantee a starting spot for Adams in the world’s biggest league. Forest are likely to be busy.
More outgoings, perhaps, than incomings – having signed 29 players last summer. Chris Wood has already been signed permanently from Newcastle with Forest staying up. Does Adams go to Forest? It seems unlikely right now.
