Tyler Adams is likely to leave Leeds United this summer and a host of teams, including Liverpool, are looking to offer him an immediate return to the Premier League.

That is according to a report from 90min, which notes that Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle and Manchester United are all admirers of the USMNT international.

Of course, Leeds now face an uphill battle to keep Tyler Adams at Elland Road. The midfielder was one of the few success stories for the club in the transfer market over the last 12 months.

In fact, it is hard not to think that Leeds may have stayed up had they had Adams fit for the final weeks of the season. The balance of the team was completely off after he sustained a campaign-ending injury.

Unsurprisingly, there is plenty of interest. According to the report from 90min, Adams is likely to leave. And he is being tracked by the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham.

Liverpool are likely to overhaul their midfield over the coming months. Of course, James Milner was one of the players to already leave Anfield this summer. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita have also departed.

So it would make a lot of sense to target Adams following Leeds’ relegation. Unfortunately, the price has probably dropped considerably over the last few days.

It would be amazing if Adams was prepared to stick around and give Leeds one more year in the hope we make an immediate return.

The last few weeks of the season showed that Leeds have no-one else like Adams right now. He is a ‘special‘ talent. And he is going to be playing towards the top of the Premier League sooner or later.

Hopefully for Leeds, it is a little while before that becomes a reality.
