For perhaps the first team this season, Leeds United have a number of injury doubts heading into their next Championship fixture.
Leeds make the trip to face bottom of the table Cardiff City in need of a win after suffering their first defeat of the season to Burnley at Elland Road.
After a busy international break, Leeds have had a much needed full week on the training pitch and based on Daniel Farke‘s latest injury update, it was needed.
Farke named Junior Firpo, Manor Solomon, Joe Rothwell and Joe Rodon as fresh injury doubts heading into the game.
On-loan Tottenham winger Solomon is regarded as the most likely to miss out, though Farke did suggest he was ‘carefully optimistic’ all four could make it.

Junior Firpo, Manor Solomon and Joe Rothwell spotted in Leeds training
Should all four of those players miss out, Leeds’ starting XI should be able to get by fairly comfortably, but the bench would be seriously light.
However, judging by the club’s latest inside training YouTube video, there is some real optimism at least three of those will be fit to play.
Firpo, Solomon and Rothwell were all spotted taking part in full team training alongside the rest of the squad, seemingly getting by without any issues.
On the other hand, however, Rodon did not appear to be involved, which would marry up with Farke’s comments that he did miss two sessions.
Of course, it is unclear exactly what day this exact session was filmed on, but either way, it looks like Firpo, Solomon and Rothwell all have problems that can be managed.

Patrick Bamford also involved, Max Wober absent
Alongside Dan James, Patrick Bamford and Max Wober were the two injury absentees against Burnley, though both could be back tomorrow.
Farke has already confirmed James will be out until after the next break, but Bamford has now been back in full team training since last Tuesday.
Wober, meanwhile, was again not spotted in the club’s latest training video, but does still have a chance of making it.
Farke confirmed Wober took part in light team training on Thursday, and depending on how his body reacts, could be ready for tomorrow.
