Manor Solomon is Leeds United’s major worry this weekend when Leeds United take on Cardiff City away from home on Saturday, but Daniel Farke says five others are of concern.
Solomon is said to have picked up a back problem after playing four times in quick succession after a year on the sidelines after his meniscus injury. He made his debut against Hull before the international break.
Then during the break, Solomon captained Israel against Belgium and Italy before returning to play in the 1-0 loss to Burnley. The Israeli is a doubt for Saturday’s outing according to Farke and he is not alone.
Farke says that five other Leeds players are said to be of concern ahead of traveling to Wales before this weekend’s clash against struggling Cardiff. Leeds will be expected to win and get back to winning ways.

Farke says four players are doubts alongside winger Solomon
Speaking in his press conference on Thursday afternoon, Farke said that Junior Firpo is a doubt for the clash as he is struggling with an issue in his knee. He also says Joe Rodon has been missing in training.
Alongside defensive duo Rodon and Firpo, Farke says Patrick Bamford is back in training but has not played much of late while Joe Rothwell and Max Wober are also potentially going to miss Cardiff.
“We had a few little knocks and hits and problems during this week. Rodon missed two training sessions due to some glute problems. Junior Firpo was struggling a bit with his MCL,” Farke said as per YouTube.
“Joe Rothwell rolled his ankle, a few concerns. Wober back in training today, just a light session, we wait to see his body reacts. Patrick Bamford back in team training since last Tuesday,” the manager added.

If all six Leeds players are missing, how could Farke line-up?
It is a real concern. Leeds have gone from having the majority of the squad fit other than Dan James, Bamford and Wober to a whole list of potential absentees ahead of the trip to Cardiff on Saturday.
If Rodon and Wober are missing, it might be that Ethan Ampadu drops into centre-back with Pascal Struijk and Ao Tanaka starts alongside Ilia Gruev in midfield. Isaac Schmidt or Sam Byram for Firpo.
Largie Ramazani could get his first start of the season if Solomon is sidelined, while Bamford was not starting ahead of Mateo Joseph anyway. But hopefully, a handful of those six players are fit to play.
