Josuha Guilavogui’s Leeds United tenure may prove to be shorter than expected after interest from France.
Guilavogui hasn’t exactly made his impact on the pitch in his first three months at Elland Road, but he’s a brilliant character around the club.
The Frenchman has only made one start since joining but Guilavogui has already made history at Leeds, coming off the bench eight times and winning all eight games.
However, after just three months with the club, the 34-year-old could see his future elsewhere, with Paris FC showing interest in Guilavogui.
Jurgen Klopp’s new role as Head of Global Soccer at RedBull has seen the French side become the company’s latest project, and now the former Liverpool manager may have just had his say on Guilavogui’s future at Leeds.

Jurgen Klopp involved in Josuha Guilavogui’s Leeds United future
Despite exploring a deal, Paris’ stance is that Josuha Guilavogui isn’t a ‘priority’ however, transfer expert Graeme Bailey has told Leeds United News the latest update suggests otherwise, which involves Klopp.
“I suspect they might be investigating the RedBull link. I know Guilavogui was linked with RedBull, I wonder if there is a one in, one out there and get a defender back,” Bailey said.
“Bringing in a centre-back from the RedBull system wouldn’t surprise me. There was something in it [Guilavogui to Paris FC].
“I think the conversation has been had, Paris have been on the phone to Jurgen Klopp – maybe not as high as Klopp – but I imagine they’ve spoken to him and said, if he’s not playing at Leeds, do you think we could manoeuvre him via the RedBull system to us. It’s clear that a conversation has happened.
“I don’t think Leeds would stand in his way. You have Gruev and Ampadu back. He did a job covering you, but there is a plethora of options there. Sacrifice him for a centre-back? Wouldn’t rule it out.”

Expect transfer business between RedBull clubs and Leeds further down the line
It doesn’t come as a surprise that business is being done between Leeds and the other RedBull clubs as the company is continuing to expand in the world of football.
Guilavogui seems to be the first Leeds player of many that could manoeuvre through the RedBull teams which could become a common occurrence, and it could go the same way with Leeds signing options from other RedBull teams.
It’s already been seen through RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg in the past, so why can’t it happen with the Whites further down the line.
Daniel Farke wants to keep Guilavogui but it looks as though his stint at Leeds could come to an end if the player is happy to agree to Klopp’s proposal.
