A number of Leeds United players have already generated interest this month and now, another Elland Road player is being considered ahead of a possible January transfer move.

Six Leeds United players were linked with moves ahead of the January window and since then, one of those has left in the form of Joe Gelhardt. Charlie Crew meanwhile, has gone on loan to Doncaster Rovers.

Max Wober, Illan Meslier, Pascal Struijk, Patrick Bamford and Junior Firpo have all been linked with exits. Now, another Leeds player has become a target of another under the umbrella of RedBull investment.

RedBull club Paris FC want to sign Leeds star Josuha Guilavogui

Josuha Guilavogui, 34, has made 10 appearances for Leeds since his arrival at the club as a free agent in October, coming off the bench in nine Championship games and starting in the win over Harrogate.

The seven-time France star signed a contract until the end of the season and that does mean that non-English clubs can approach Guilavogui on a pre-contract arrangement to sign him on a free in June.

However, Jeunes Footeux are now claiming that second-tier French side Paris FC, one of six clubs to benefit from RedBull investment alongside Leeds, are looking at a deal to sign Leeds’ Guilavogui.

Why Josuha Guilavogui might be tempted by Paris FC

Currently sitting in second place and on joint points with first place, Paris FC are gunning for promotion to Ligue 1. The chance of promotion and a return to France would be very tempting for Guilavogui.

But more so, is that Guilavogui’s brother Morgan Guilavogui – who is currently playing with Bundesliga side St. Pauli – came through the books at Paris FC. There is a family connection with the French outfit.

It makes sense for Guilavogui, especially with Ethan Amapdu and Ilia Gruev back after injuries which will see Guilavogui drop down the pecking order at Leeds. This one might just have legs in the next weeks.
