Daniel Farke deserves serious plaudits after the work he’s done to come back from criticism at Leeds United.
It’s proven to be another rollercoaster season at Leeds, but Farke’s side are almost across the line.
Five points now separate the Whites from Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United, as it’s been some turnaround when playoffs looked to be the direction.

Ally McCoist said the promotion race is ‘strange’ as it can all change in a flash, with Sheffield still having to play Burnley.
But as for Leeds, it’s hopefully going to be smooth sailing, and Stuart Dallas has seemingly put it down to this one decision Farke made.

Stuart Dallas on ‘outstanding’ Daniel Farke decision at Leeds United
The fact that Farke was under the spotlight to exit Leeds just weeks ago will certainly cause bafflement.
It’s became an alarming factor that his future wasn’t secure as Farke was supposedly on his ‘final straw’.
But now that has all changed, and Leeds hero Dallas might have pinned it down to one key move Farke made.
Karl Darlow has come into the frame as Farke made the choice to drop Illan Meslier after a series of blunders.
The former Whites full-back has praised this as Dallas commented on Darlow’s Instagram saying “outstanding” after the keeper wrote, “Huge win! That Elland Road noise” following the win over Preston.

Darlow decision from Farke has got Leeds over the line
The decision to incorporate Darlow back into the squad could turn out to be the reason Leeds get promoted.
It never seemed likely that Farke would drop Meslier, but after his errors in the 2-2 draw vs Swansea City, the Leeds manager had enough.
There seems to be a much more relaxed environment with the change in keepers, as Darlow is the ultimate professional at Leeds and has proven that thus far.
Not only has it changed the Whites’ form, but it has also proven to be a season-defining decision and is ultimately the final piece Farke needed for promotion.
