Leeds United and Bournemouth are now pondering over whether to end loan deals for Luis Sinisterra and Jaidon Anthony early.

The two players moved in opposite directions on season-long-loan deals back on deadline day in the summer, with Sinisterra expressing his desire to move back to the Premier League.

As part of the deal, Leeds demanded that they would receive a player in return and so Anthony made the switch to Elland Road despite having started two of Bournemouth’s first three Premier League matches.

However, according to Team Talk, both sides are now considering the possibility of ending the loan spells early, which could see them return to their parent clubs in the New Year.

Neither player has managed to make a major impact since joining their new clubs, with Anthony having started just twice in the Championship, and Sinisterra just once in the Premier League.

Leeds would be making major call on Sinisterra

This would be an incredible turn of events if it was to happen, particularly given the way Angus Kinnear spoke about Sinisterra’s desire to leave Leeds in the summer.

Anthony has looked decent in a lot of the cameos he has played off the bench for Leeds, but the form of those ahead of him in his position has severely restricted his minutes.

Sinisterra, meanwhile, took a while to get up to the desired fitness level of Andoni Iraola and although his impact has been greater in recent weeks, he still only has one start.

There is no doubt that Sinisterra would become an instant starter back at Leeds if he was to return, and ultimately, he would be a cheat code at this level given his ability.

What’s more, Sinisterra has already played for two clubs this season meaning he would be unable to leave again, with FIFA regulations stipulating that is the maximum number you can play for in a single season.
