Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola says Leeds United loanee Luis Sinisterra is not yet fully fit.
Iraola was speaking to the Daily Echo on Sinisterra’s start to life at Bournemouth so far, having joined on a season-long-loan from Leeds on deadline day.
Sinisterra has played just 48 minutes of action since his move to the South Coast, coming off the bench against both Chelsea and Arsenal, as well as being an unused substitute at Brighton.

He was also cup-tied for their 2-0 Carabao Cup win over Stoke City last week having played against Shrewsbury Town and Salford City in the competition for Leeds.
Prior to his move to Bournemouth, Sinisterra played 85 minutes in Leeds’ win at Ipswich Town, while also featuring for half-an-hour in the cup defeat at Salford.
Iraola says Sinisterra not yet fully fit
Iraola says Sinisterra is continuing to build up his ‘physical strength’ in training as he is not yet fit enough to start, having ‘finished tired’ in his cameo off the bench against Chelsea last month.
He said: “It would have been good for him to play some minutes against Stoke the other day, but he couldn’t. So he has to continue. The other day at home against Chelsea he gave us good minutes, he finished tired. He needs this.

“When you change (clubs), probably training is different, the style is a bit different. So he needs to start winning his physical strength, because we know that his quality is there. He is very good, especially offensively, he is a difference-maker. We need him.”
It is difficult to understand how Sinisterra is not yet fit to start given how involved he was towards the end of his time at Leeds, though it is likely Bournemouth are being careful given his injury record.
Iraola will not want to lose another of his recruits from Leeds to injury, having already seen Tyler Adams pick up another serious hamstring issue following his comeback against Stoke City after six months out.
