Robin Koch officially sealed a permanent exit from Leeds United yesterday and it now appears another loanee is set to sort his long-term future.
Koch was one of eight members of last season’s first team squad to leave on loan in the summer following Leeds‘ relegation from the Premier League in May.
Having joined Eintracht Frankfurt on an initial season-long-loan, the German side have moved quickly to sign Koch permanently ahead of his contract at Elland Road expiring in the summer.
And while that transfer will come as no surprise, this latest news most certainly will. According to Foot Mercato, PSG are now ‘advancing’ in a deal to sign Diego Llorente – who is currently on loan at AS Roma.
L’Equipe first reported of PSG’s interest just a matter of hours earlier and it seems it has moved quickly, with the French side keen to strengthen at the back, and Llorente emerging as the main target.

Llorente is currently in the middle of a second loan spell at Roma, which has the chance to turn permanent in the summer providing certain appearance clauses are met.
It is said that PSG could now offer a fee higher than the clause fee in Roma’s deal in order to make the deal happen in this transfer window, which can only be good news for Leeds.
Llorente is, of course, familiar with PSG manager Luis Enrique, who was recently in charge of the Spanish national team, where he named the 30-year-old in several squads.
He is also not the first Leeds defender PSG have been linked with this month, with key man Pascal Struijk also having been on the radar, until they signed Brazilian talent Lucas Beraldo.
It will be interesting to see how this Llorente deal progresses over the next few days, as PSG will have to negotiate with both Leeds and Roma.
