Pascal Struijk has been exceptional for Leeds United this term, scoring five goals already and even wearing the captain’s armband – and his form has attracted the attention of Paris Saint-Germain.

Struijk, 24, has missed just one of our 24 Championship games this term. Captaining Leeds 12 times in the League, the defender has even scored three league goals – and five in all competitions for Leeds.

He has been quality for Leeds and is one of the first names on the team sheet at the moment. Even, missing just one game after a hernia operation. Leeds will be desperate to keep the left-footed defender.

Indeed, that was the case in the summer. Angus Kinnear said Leeds rejected an offer for Struijk in the previous window, worth between £10m and £15m. The list of admirers is growing, for the defender.

Reports state that Struijk is unlikely to leave Leeds in January despite interest from Club Brugge. But, that could change. Voetbal International say PSG are interested in signing Struijk, ahead of January.

PSG have attempted to sign Leeds defender Pascal Struijk

Owned by Nasser Al-Khelaifi, who was valued at a huge £6.5billion in 2021, PSG obviously are known as one of the richest clubs in Europe. They have the cash not only to tempt Leeds, but maybe Struijk, too.

The chance to play for one of Europe’s biggest sides, alongside the likes of Kylian Mbappe. The report states that PSG have ‘attempted’ to sign Struijk ahead of January. It is unclear what attempt that is.

Whether it is a bid, or an enquiry made, or contact made with Leeds about possibly purchasing Struijk. But he has a deal at Elland Road until the summer of 2027 and Leeds will be confident of keeping him.
