Daniel Farke was spotted having a long chat with Djed Spence after Leeds United‘s win at Blackburn Rovers.
The Whites picked up a 2-0 victory at Ewood Park thanks to goals in either half from Dan James and Crysencio Summerville to make it three consecutive Championship wins.
Spence came on in the second half for just his second appearance for Leeds since moving on loan from Tottenham Hotspur after recovering from a knee injury all the way back in September.
The 23-year-old came on to replace Sam Byram at left-back after he suffered a slight hamstring injury in a 50/50 challenge on the touch line.
Having played just 10 minutes of football all season, Spence looked relatively sharp in possession and got some vital minutes into the legs.
Farke has long Spence chat at full-time
As per Phil Hay, Farke was seen having a long chat with Spence at full-time as the rest of the Leeds side milked the applause from the away end and headed down the tunnel.
The two were there for some time as Farke clearly looked to get his message across quickly, particularly if he is going to be needed on Tuesday at Sunderland due to Byram’s injury.
Farke said: “Sometimes when there are little situations not to forget, I get the message across quickly.”
Regardless of performance, it was good to see Spence getting some much needed minutes into the legs considering the busy schedule Leeds have coming up.
Spence might even be needed to play out of position on the left at the Stadium of Light, which could be what Farke was telling him at the end of the game.
