Daniel Farke has raved about Dan James in his post-match press conference on Wednesday night after the Leeds United attacker scored a “perfect” goal during our 3-1 win over Swansea City.
Leeds got back to winning ways last night as the Whites cruised to a 3-1 win over Swansea, despite going behind in the first couple of minutes – Jamie Paterson chipping Illan Meslier to open the scoring.
But, Leeds came roaring back. Joel Piroe got his seventh goal of the season. Played in by Crysencio Summerville, Piroe finished with aplomb. Georginio Rutter scored an “absolutely outstanding” goal.
Then, Rutter turned provider. He laid in 26-year-old James after a crunching tackle from Sam Byram, who also netted against his old side. Farke paid tribute to the Welsh ace, his first touch was “perfect”.
“My gut feeling is we can still improve on this finishing. Goals tonight were very good. Perfect first touch from James at high speed and finish with his weaker boot,” Farke said in his presser, as per Leeds Live.

Daniel Farke raves about Dan James after Leeds goal vs Swansea
It was a brilliant goal. A player that is clearly playing some of his best football at the moment, netting his fifth of the season and taking his tally to nine goals and assists so far, this season. With his weaker foot.
James has often been criticised for a lack of end product but he is righting those critics this season, as he netted once again – after doing so against Plymouth a couple of games ago. James is on fire, now.
A quick turnaround for Leeds now, with a clash against Middlesbrough at Elland Road on Saturday – less than 72 hours after the win over Swansea. As Farke continues to say, the Championship is relentless.
