Daniel Farke is getting the best out of a number of Leeds United players, and in the case of Joe Rodon – it is fair to say he’s in the form of his life right now. But, that is attracting plenty of attention.
Rodon, 26, starred for Swansea initially and was picked up by Tottenham in the summer of 2020. But he struggled to make an impact at Spurs, playing just 24 times with the North London club in two years.
He was shipped out on loan to Rennes last season, where he struggled to impress again. But now, at Leeds, Rodon is back to his best. Yes, it is a drop down in division – but Rodon has been sensational.
Leeds will be hopeful of striking a permanent deal for the Wales man. It is believed Spurs could request a whopping £20m for Rodon. His deal at Spurs ends in June 2025, and that could reduce the price tag.
It has also been claimed that Leeds would need to gain promotion to buy Rodon. Now, TeamTalk report that we aren’t alone in their pursuit of a permanent deal – with ‘anonymous’ Premier League clubs keen.

Leeds United star Joe Rodon attracting Premier League interest
Of course, it might take promotion for Leeds to tempt Rodon. But it makes sense for us financially to only buy Rodon if we do go up. Spending north of £10m on a player in the Championship is expensive.
If Leeds go up, you would imagine Rodon would love to remain at Elland Road having been a part of the side that got promotion – and, that there are a number of Wales teammates in Daniel Farke’s Leeds side.
But, the lure of the Premier League is now evident and available to Rodon regardless of promotion. The interest from top-tier sides makes it all the more important that Leeds do go up, to get him permanently.
