Leeds United can secure automatic promotion to the Premier League on Easter Monday if they better Sheffield United’s result against Burnley, with The Whites taking on Stoke City at Elland Road.
Currently top of the Championship table and with a much bigger goal difference than both Burnley and Sheffield United, Leeds are five points clear of third-placed Sheffield United after one win in the last four.
Leeds will be expected to make it four wins in a row when they host Mark Robins’ improving Stoke at 3pm today. Stoke have gone unbeaten in five and won three in that run, picking up two wins from two games.
Stoke could be without six players including key trio Ben Gibson, Eric Bocat and Jordan Thompson. Leeds meanwhile, will be without Pascal Struijk and Joe Rothwell but Dan James and Manor Solomon are fit.
