The 49ers and Adam Underwood are yet to make their first move in the transfer market but while they remain patient, Leeds United are being linked with new names on a daily basis.
With Leeds boasting a £150m transfer kitty, The Whites are expected to spend big this summer. Paraag Marathe has said Leeds will spend every penny, without the club breaking Profit & Sustainability Rules.
A different approach to the likes of Nottingham Forest, Everton, Sheffield United and potentially Leicester who broke the rules and suffered points deductions. Below, are the latest transfer stories regarding Leeds.
The latest Leeds United transfer news & rumours this week

Nikola Krstovic admits he is ‘close’ to exit after Leeds links
Leeds are among the clubs eyeing Lecce’s star player Nikola Krstovic. The Montenegro star, who is rated at £25m, was the star of the show for Lecce in their last-day Serie A survival, beating Lazio 1-0 away.
Lecce managed just 27 Serie A goals last season, and Krstovic had a hand in 16 of them – scoring 11 and laying on five assists. That has caught the eye of Leeds and some of Italy’s biggest clubs, like AC Milan.
Krstovic now says he is “closer” to a Lecce exit with his signature in demand. Leeds have been targeting players with Premier League experience but if they go further afield, Krstovic will surely be a priority.
Leeds willing to activate £21m clause in La Liga attacker’s contract

Christantus Uche had been rumoured as a potential Leeds target on social media, following his stunning breakthrough season with Getafe. Bought from Spanish non-league for a tiny fee, he has excelled.
A total of 10 goals and assists from a number of different positions has seen Leeds eye Uche, who won his first Nigeria cap on May 31. Leeds are rivalling Brighton for Uche, ready to activate his £21m clause.
Whether he can be trusted to go again and produce the form he had been doing with Getafe remains to be seen. But after such a stellar 2024-25 campaign with Getafe, clubs will come calling and Leeds are one.
A third Liverpool player has been added to Leeds’ shortlist

This summer, Leeds had been linked with Caoimhin Kelleher before Kelleher snubbed Leeds to join Brentford this week. An £18m deal, with Brentford only paying an initial £12.5m for the goalkeeper.
Konstantinos Tsimikas is a target for Leeds at left-back and now, £25m-rated Joe Gomez is a target for Leeds. Arne Slot afforded him just nine Premier League appearances last season, little over 500 minutes.
Leeds are not alone in pursuit of Gomez with seven other Premier League clubs said to be interested. Whether Gomez can be convinced remains to be seen, but the England star would be a good signing.
