Leeds United are still working to sign Cameron Archer from Southampton on deadline day and here are the squad numbers available to him if he completes transfer.
After a month of almost no activity – save Joe Gelhardt’s loan switch to Hull City – Leeds United could have an exciting transfer deadline day.
Daniel Farke had been adamant ahead of the January transfer window that he was satisfied with his squad but that hasn’t stopped the club from showing interest in some players.
However, as of yet, Leeds have been in successful as they abandoned plans to sign a defender following Pascal Struijk’s recovery and failed in attempts to recruit a playmaker.
Aston Villa pair Louie Barry and Emi Buendia were both sent on loan elsewhere and Leeds have now shifted focus on to frontman Cameron Archer instead.
The striker only signed for Southampton in the summer but Leeds are working to bring Archer to Yorkshire to give them a final push to promotion.
A loan offer was rejected last week but Leeds are still pushing to sign Archer on deadline day.

Leeds’ big squad means the most sought after numbers from 1-11 are all claimed, leaving No.12 as the lowest available. The likes of Tyler Adams and Gaetano Berardi have worn the shirt, while it was taken by winger Jaidon Anthony last season.

Usually worn by goalkeepers at Leeds, the No.13 has been available since Kristoffer Klaesson departed the club in the summer.

The No.15 is available again for the first time in eight years after Leeds legend Stuart Dallas retired in the summer. Archer would have big boots to fill if he opted for the digit.
